Project One: Day Two
Saturday, September 23🌤️
Hello crochet enthusiasts! 🧶 Today blessed us with beautiful Georgia weather, tempting us to embrace the outdoors. With my three little ones, including two in diapers (yes, I am a part of the "two under two" club!), we made our routine Saturday grocery run, putting our couponing skills to good use.
Recently, my daughter took her first steps, so we headed to our local Hobby Lobby to let her explore. Admittedly, the yarn aisle's allure during a 30% off sale was strong! However, I stayed strong and only walked out with a Bluey sticker book. Victory! 🙌
On the project front, still recuperating from my ER visit, I allotted myself a modest two and a half hours to work on my WIP today. The granny stitch proved to be a fast worker, allowing me to make significant progress. Despite a v-stitch hiccup in one row, I opted not to unravel again—I'd had enough of that yesterday, as you can tell from the tangled yarn in the picture!
Reaching this point, the pattern became a bit perplexing. Thankfully, besides the written pattern available with ads or for purchase, there's also a helpful video. Watching it clarified how to skip the arms successfully.
Only a few tasks remain—finishing the bottom band, the arms, and their respective bands. I'm optimistic I can complete them tomorrow without a hitch, well, assuming no unexpected surprises come my way! 😅
On a side note, it dawned on me that my daughter might need a matching hat for this new sweater! What are your thoughts?
Today's lesson: Embrace both life's joys and your crafting passions ❤️
Until next time—may your hooks glide smoothly, and may your yarn be endless and tangle-free! 🌟🪡 #CrochetChronicles #CraftingJoyfully #Crochetwithkee 🧶
